Chlamydia – Hiding in Plain Sight
Chlamydia is one of the most common factors in pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), chronic pelvic pain, and infertility. Whether you recognize it or not, you are likely to be dealing chlamydia or its after effects in your casework. Far beyond the (subtle and often unrecognized) genital symptoms, this disease creates a pattern in the client and the miasmatic line that is recognizable by its oblique obscurity. It appears in pneumonia of infants, joint complaints of seniors and a wide variety of fertility issues.
Karen Allen brings 20 years of clinical experience to each of her dynamic classes and presentations. Drawn to homeopathy after a seeing remarkable response in an illness for one of her children, she enrolled and graduated from Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in 1994. In practice, her focus of interest is in reproductive and endocrine health issues, especially those that impact fertility. She teaches widely through her continuing education advanced webinar series. Her training materials consistently present strong options for clinical application and clear tools for case work, with a focus on case based presentation. Karen was formerly adjunct faculty at Bastyr University’s and is now on the faculty for AMCH teaching homeopathic philosophy. She believes strongly that homeopathy can be implemented most successfully when the practitioner is able to work effectively at every level from the smallest tissue to the broadest family line or epidemic. She has specific interests in clinical effectiveness research for integrative healthcare modalities, and in the infrastructure of emerging health professions. She is a former board member and past president of the Council for Homeopathic Certification. She currently serves as the education director for Homeopaths Without Borders’ project in Haiti, and NCH’s representative as a Partner for Health with the Integrative Healthcare Policy Consortium.
Mary Aspinwall, PCH, RSHom(NA)
The Genus Epidemicus, HIV/AIDS in Africa, and the work of HHA (Homeopathy for Health in Africa)
“I’ve known Mary since 1994 when she began studying at Dynamis, London. She was a Salmon prover and helped edit the proving for publication. Even at that time my plan was to work in Africa to discover the genus epidemicus of HIV/AIDS. Mary was very enthusiastic about the idea and has always been very supportive of Homeopathy for Health in Africa, in many ways, since it was founded seven years ago.
One of Mary’s particular skills is to communicate simply to the public about homeopathy. She interviewed me, my wife Camilla, our staff and volunteers to produce a lengthy article for the US magazine, Homeopathy Today. This helped to introduce our work to a wider audience in the US and was also published in Ireland and the UK. It brought in much needed donations for our work.
In late 2014 she began volunteering with HHA, working with us from a distance. She wrote and designed our annual newsletter and redesigned our website’s Donation page. Last year she created a much needed new website for us and produced our 2015 Newsletter and Calendar.
In February 2015 she attended a seminar I was teaching in Toronto. We spent three additional days working on the details of a book she is writing with me and my wife, Camilla, which will share what we have learned about HIV/AIDS. She understands what we are trying to achieve with our work here and I am delighted to hear that she may be presenting to you in May.” – Jeremy Sherr
“Mary has been a good friend and colleague for many years. Our paths have crossed before and now seem to have joined in our mutual passion for homeopathy in Africa. It would be wonderful to have her present HHA’s work at your conference.” – Camilla Sherr

Homeoprophylaxis (HP), Vaccines and the role of government in public health care models
Given the reality of mandatory vaccines and the reality of a 1 in 45 incidence of autism, the time is now to re-evaluate public health care policies and examine the methodology of the vaccine paradigm. Around the world homeoprophylaxis is being utilized as a public health care model for the prevention of infectious disease. We will look at how HP actually educates children’s immune systems while at the same time imprving their health and satisfying the need to keep disease incidence down.
This session will compare the potential of current vaccine methodology, the Genus Epidemicus model and Homeoprophylaxis program to fulfill this need and the positively impact on the overall health of the population and the need for right government oversight for disease prevention programs to be successful.
We will explore the energetic nature of disease, individual susceptibility, the nature of epidemics, the natural bell curve of disease, the need for the immune system to actively and accurately respond in infectious disease processes, and how best to support the process towards immunity individually and collectively. By looking more thoroughly at the teachings of Hahnemann we will examine the principles of similar and dissimilar disease employed in the practice of HP, research in HP and real time case studies of remedy response.
Since 1990, Kate Birch RSHom(NA), CCH, CMT has logged over 2000 hours in homeopathic and clinical education, with an additional 700 hours in massage and bodywork training. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Treatment with Cases
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) has become an increasingly perplexing issue as the rate of infection expands globally. Its serious potential consequences (cervical and oropharyngeal cancers) and the pressure being put on parents to vaccinate their children with a controversial and often dangerous vaccine, has made HPV a hotbed topic. In this talk, Dr. Garber will discuss the epidemiology of HPV along with his experience in its prevention and treatment using nosodes and tautodes along with conventional homeopathic
remedies.

Fifteen Years Experience with Homeopathic Immunizations [Homeoprophylaxis]
Over a fifteen-year period, 184 children between ages two months and twelve years were given potentized Polio, trivalent Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus [DPT], and Measles, Mumps and Rubella [MMR] vaccines. None of the children developed those diseases over the course of the study. If one adds this information to the results of the study by Isaac Golden on 1305 children over thirteen years, almost 1,500 children receiving homeopathic immunization obtained excellent results.

Vaccinations A-Z
As homeopaths it is vital that we are familiar with the current vaccination requirements which our patients are subject, the difference between the viral and bacterial vaccines, their contents, and their possible positive and negative effects, as we engage in dialog with our patients about prophylaxis.
Dr. Ikenze has been practicing integrative health since 1985. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1978. Dr. Ikenze completed her residency and fellowship in General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital in Boston under the auspices of Harvard University.
As a new physician she became interested in the history of health and healing in the context of the psychosocial development of mankind, with a special interest in the place of women as nurturers, caretakers and healers. In her research and practice she sought ways of treating the whole patient as opposed to addressing symptoms. This led her to a conviction and understanding of the relationship between physiological, psychological and spiritual health. This new found understanding led to the formal study of homeopathy. In 1985 Dr Ikenze began her life long practice and study of homeopathy in Montreal and received her homeopathic diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy in 1993.
Dr. Ikenze continues to incorporate the integration of allopathic (orthodox conventional western medicine) and homeopathic medicine with herbal and nutritional treatments to address patient’s spiritual, mental, emotional and physical unity. In 1990 Dr. Ikenze established the Elizabeth Medical Center focused on pediatrics, women’s health, family medicine and homeopathy in suburban San Francisco’s Marin County.
Dr. Ikenze is the author of Menopause and Homeopathy: A Guide for Women in Midlife.
